Colorado Group Gives Away $150 at Douglas County Fair & Rodeo
If you were lucking enough to be on the receiving end of the We the People Congress’ effort on the last day of the Douglas County Fair you would have been $1 richer. In an effort to provide information to the People of Douglas County about the up coming Continental Congress, a one-dollar bill was attached to their information flier.
Tom Valdez, Douglas County Coordinator for the We the People Congress Colorado gave away 150 one-dollar bills Saturday afternoon. The flyers contained information about their efforts and both the national website, givemeliberty.org, and the state website, wethepeoplecongresscolorado.com (or wtpcc.com).
When interviewed Mr. Valdez stated “Our group is informing the people of Colorado about our fight to restore constitutional order to the government. Our goal is to force the Federal Government back into the cage US Constitution. The ballot box appears not work and the We the People mantra is ‘Want should a Sovereign Citizen to do when the Federal Government is out of their control.’ The solution to the nation’s problem is not more government but less. By the constitution the founding fathers established a limited constitutional republic to protect the rights of individuals. So please take a look at our websites, givemeliberty.org and wtpcc.com”
Mr. Valdez said that by giving away a dollar with each flier people were willing to listen to what he had to say about his group’s effort. He said there was a lot of support and people were very interested in what can be done about the current state of affairs in Washington DC.
